In This Issue: Admissions Officers' Tips for Applying to College Applying to college can sometimes feel like a game of chance. There is no way to know for sure who will win the game and be admitted to the school of hirs or her choice. Students going through the process repeatedly hear that there is no one formula for success. SAT and ACT Proctored Exam Schedule for Fall 2012 Free, no-obligation, proctored ACT and SAT practice exams are open to current A+ students and to members of the community. This is a great opportunity for students to take the ACT or SAT in a simulated test-center environment prior to sitting for the "real" thing. Students will receive a detailed score report which includes an analysis of their strengths and weaknesses on the exam. Tracking Grades and Attendance Online In an ever-evolving digital age, many parents now have students' grades and attendance at their fingertips via their schools' websites. Some schools have even implemented technology which sends text alerts to parents when a student receives a poor grade, doesn't turn in an assignment, or is tardy to a class.
